Elements for Printing: Instructional Weaving, 2012

Well known for her elliptical comics, Aidan Koch’s pieces tend to capture the emotional tenor of a scene through small, meticulously observed details and gestures. Koch frequently visits museums to draw studies of art objects; this quiet rendering of a loom and the hands that work it carries the same contemplative and studious quality.

Aidan Koch, b. 1988, Seattle, WA, is an artist and graphic novelist who lives and works in Landers, California.
