This poster was printed on the occasion of Picture Room’s fifth Featured Artist show with Justin Hunt Sloane in 2015. The Picture Room graphic identity, designed by Benjamin Critton, nods to the rectangle as the historic mode of art-making, using classical proportions to enact various iterations of the Golden Ratio.
Justin Hunt Sloane, b. 1987, is an American artist, designer, and bookmaker. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
Benjamin Critton, b. 1983, is an American artist and graphic designer. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Art, and lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
