Notes On This Show: Seemingly Random Violence…, 2006, Framed

This work was exhibited at Seth Price’s solo exhibition of 16mm films at Friedrich Petzel Gallery in 2006. The found screen test sheets are printed with Price’s scrawled notes on his film and video installations, which showed at Reena Spaulings Fine Art in conjunction with the show at Petzel. The notes reveal a restless experimental studio practice that borrows equally from seemingly every crevis of contemporary culture.
