In her print and drawing practice, Rachel Duckhouse explores the rhythms, patterns, and structures found in natural and built landscapes alike. Her work often derives from an intensive research process, beginning with sketchbook drawings that evolve with continued observation and investigation.
Rachel Duckhouse, b. 1975, lives and works in Glasgow. Her work is held in the collections of The British Museum, Glasgow Print Studio, University of Stirling, City of Calgary Civic Art Collection, Edinburgh Printmakers, among others. Duckhouse has been showcased in many solo and group exhibitions internationally in addition to various commissions and residencies.
