Featured Artist Poster: Aidan Koch, 2016, Unsigned

This poster was printed on the occasion of Picture Room’s Featured Artist show with Aidan Koch in the Winter of 2016-2017. The Picture Room graphic identity, designed by Benjamin Critton, nods to the rectangle as the historic mode of art-making, using classical proportions to enact various iterations of the Golden Ratio.

Aidan Koch, b. 1988 Seattle, WA, is an artist and graphic novelist. She received the 2012 Xeric Grant, and was a finalist for the Oregon Book Awards, Literary Arts. Solo exhibitions include Mood Board at Mission Comics, Notes at City Limits, Mortals at Farewell Books, The Marble Hand at Nationale, and The Dancer at Midnight at Huis Haas. Koch currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Benjamin Critton, b. 1983, is an American artist and graphic designer. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Art, and lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
