Dick Higgins and Wolf Vostell

Dick Higgins, b. 1938 – d. 1998, was a composer, poet, print maker, and co-founder of the Fluxus movement. Born in England, but raised in the United States, he founded Something Else Press in 1963 and after John Cage, pioneered electronic correspondence as an art medium. Wolf Vostell, b. 1932 – d. 1998, was a German painter and sculptor. Considered one of the early adopters of video and installation art, Vostell was among the first Happenings artists, and a co-founder of Fluxus.
