Well known for her elliptical comics, Aidan Koch makes work that emphasizes tone over narrative and seeks affinities between objects, scenes, and moods. Her 2016 zine The Parallelogram Box explores the subject of interiors through drawings and short pieces of descriptive writing. This composition approaches interiority as a place whose objects occasionally gaze back at us.
