Loop Room Window, 2018

Paige Mehrer often mines symbology from religious to ancient sources to explore the intertwining psychological and physical manifestations of one’s self. Mehrer created this watercolor work as part of her 2018 mini zine Loop Room, published by Plum Press, the micropublishing and creative collective Mehrer co-founded with artists Sophie Page and Haejin Park.

Paige Mehrer is an illustrator who lives and works in New York. Her work has been featured in such publications as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Lucky Peach, PLANSPONSOR, Broadly, VICE, The Portland Mercury, Food52, Curbed, Study Hall, Here Mag, and Narrative.ly.
