Sunsets Working: Kayla Guthrie Reading and Performance
Picture room presents a reading and performance by Kayla Guthrie in celebration of her new book, Sunsets Working. Published in an edition of 200 by Bodega and designed by Eric Wrenn, the publication consists of a single long-form poem, written by Guthrie and hand calligraphed by New York artist Nathan Antolik. An artist working in writing, sound, and visual mediums, Guthrie will also have copies of her 2015 EP Blue available alongside two letterpress prints previously exhibited by Bodega.

K. Guthrie, b. 1986, is a New York-based artist hailing from British Columbia, Canada. She has performed and exhibited at galleries and venues throughout the US and Europe, most recently at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Sandy Brown (Berlin), Off Vendome (NYC), Signal (Brooklyn), and Greene Naftali.
