In this intimately scaled body of work, Guerrero employs subtle color, texture, and tone to evoke the liminal space between night and day. Her practice starts from a place of observation, and culminates in delicate applications of oil paint coming together to suggest the form of a fleeting moment.

Blanca Guerrero, b. 1990, Madrid, is a visual artist who currently lives and works in Madrid, and was formerly based in Brooklyn. Guerrero was raised in New York City and holds a BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design.
