Jacqueline Dee Parker is a collage artist and poet born in NYC and presently based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her abstract geometrical work explores ideas about inhabited space. Parker’s materials include antique book papers and other ephemera, fragments of lived experience that inspire the construction of new spaces informed by time’s passage. Early life in the home of an architect and a violinist fostered her affinity for abstraction and design. Widely exhibited, her work also resides in private, public, corporate and museum collections.
