Power Prints (Openness), 2022, Framed

Robin Cameron created this series as a meditation on expressions of power. Through Power Prints, Cameron reflects on her and her partner's experiences of undergoing fertility treatments and the rhetoric and hierarchies embedded in this experience. The works were made using pochoir, a new printing technique that involves etching intaglio water-based ink, and each piece consists of hand-placed text and hand-cut printing plates. A selection of the Power Prints series was recently shown in a group exhibition at Analog Diary in Beacon, New York.
