In this series of risograph prints, Sigrid Calon explores form and color combinations in her distinct graphic vocabulary. Calon created 120 compositions in total working with eight forms and eight colors, published in the 2020 book SC_1/1_1/2_1/4_1/8. Calon describes the work as “an homage to the Square, the Circle & the Grid with its endless possibilities and exciting potential.”
Sigrid Calon, b. 1969, is a Dutch visual artist. Calon lives and works in Tilburg, Netherlands.
