Unpublished Story Page 3, 2017

Well known for her elliptical comics that emphasize tone over narrative, Aidan Koch’s pieces engage subtraction, silence, and space with a careful hand. Koch works directly and intuitively, allowing the composition and narrative to form throughout her process. This page is from an unfinished story, further emphasizing the anti-fixity of the artist’s work. In 2017, it was shown at Transmitter as part of the dual exhibition In Search Of, featuring Koch and Dawit L. Petros.
