Well known for her elliptical comics that emphasize tone over narrative, Aidan Koch’s pieces engage subtraction, silence, and space with a careful hand. Koch works directly and intuitively, allowing the narratives to form throughout her process then adjusts accordingly. This graphite and soft pastel work is part of a series created during Koch's residency in Bogotá, Colombia.
