Drawing on her practice in photography, the artist Sarah Duby allows the painting to slowly reveal itself in these series of works. Duby is interested in exploring the phenomena of perception, the processes of appearance of an image, and the physical study of light. Her studio is both a shooting studio and a place to paint, where she experiments with the transition between these two mediums.
