Womanhood, sexuality, and the body in space are central themes Ana Kraš constantly revisits through figurative sketches. Using a distinctive design vocabulary, Kraš creates a linear, precise dictionary of marks with minimal color palettes to depict the human body.
Ana Kraš, b. 1984, Belgrade, Serbia, is an artist based in New York. Her wide-ranging body of work, encompasses furniture and household objects, photography, drawing, and video. Kraš’ work has been exhibited widely, and she has collaborated with numerous designers, brands, and publications, including Hay, Ganni, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Apartamento Magazine, among others.
