Untitled (rose), I, 2015

Well known for her elliptical comics, Aidan Koch’s pieces tend to capture the emotional tenor of a scene through small, meticulously observed details and gestures. Koch works directly and intuitively, allowing the narratives to form throughout her process then adjusts accordingly. This set of illustration sketches was created for the zine Set #11, designed by 8-Ball Zines.
