This limited edition poster was printed on the occasion of Picture Room’s Feature Artist exhibition Outdoor Activities, showing works by William Wegman, on view November 10, 2017–January 15, 2018. Drawing from the artist’s personal archive, Outdoor Activities explores themes of nature and classic American pastimes that appear throughout Wegman’s career. The print reproduces a work from the show titled Activities, a watercolor painting that features fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking scenes that create a camouflage pattern effect. Designed by Talmor & Talmor & Talmor, the print comes in two color variations.
William Wegman, b. 1943, Holyoke, Massachusetts, works in various mediums including painting, drawing, video, and photography. Wegman lives and works in New York and Maine.
