Born and raised in Namibia, photographer Kyle Weeks has also lived in Cape Town and now works and resides in Amsterdam. Weeks documents and shares powerful narratives of Africa in his intimate portraiture and vast landscape imagery. This image is an aerial view of the Namib Desert located near Luderitz, Namibia.

Kyle Weeks, b. 1992, Namibia, is based in Amsterdam. His work has been shown in solo shows at the National Art Gallery of Namibia, MOP6 in Cape Town, and Joburg Art Fair; group exhibitions in Detroit, London, New York; and a number of photography fairs, including Unseen Amsterdam, Photo London, and 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair. He is the co-founder of Cape Collective Assist, which provides photographic services in South Africa.
