The launch of Newest York’s 19th issue: STAYCATION alongside two limited edition zines by No Land and Jonah Rosenberg. Newest York publishes a monthly online magazine showcasing local artists whose work engages with New York City. Featuring new writing by Ben Fama and Gabriella Caputo, a conversation with sculptor Heidi Lau, previously unseen photographs from the late Priya Ramrahka’s archive, and more, the issue explores travel, sabbaticals, and breaks from working life within the city.
To celebrate the launch there will be readings from No Land, Ben Fama, and Stela Xhiku at 7 PM. A limited edition t-shirt will also be available at the launch.
Newest York is a project of Newest York Arts Press, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit publisher and arts organization.
