Sisternhood is a limited edition poetry anthology that explores the influence of the Internet on six European women, their language, and their poetry. Contributing poets include Bogna M. Konior, Lora Nouk, Fabienne Rachmadiev, Lara Schoorl, Nora Turato, and Nadia de Vries.
"Sistern is a misspelling of the word sistren, the feminine equivalent of the Medieval term brethren. It is also a homophone for cistern: a receptacle for holding liquid substances. A sisterhood is a society of women."
Nadia de Vries, b. 1991 Heemskerk, The Netherlands, is a poet, curator, and researcher. She lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Lara Schoorl, b. 1990 Amsterdam, The Netherlands, is a writer, curator and art historian. She lives and works in between Los Angeles and Chicago.
Lora Nouk, b. Copenhagen, Denmark, is a poet and artist. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
Nora Turato, b. 1991 Croatia, is a talking artist. She currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
