This poster marks the first major UK exhibition of work by Seth Price and Kelley Walker with publishing collective Continuous Project in 2007. In conjunction with the exhibition, which spanned across all of the galleries at Modern Art Oxford, were a series of talks and screenings as well as an edition of video work by Seth Price. Price is also a member of Continuous Project, who performed a reading of the 1974-1975 El Paso-based trial between The Church of the New Song and the US State on the show’s opening day.
Seth Price, b. 1973, Jerusalem, is a multi-disciplinary post-conceptual artist, living and working in New York. His work has been shown in solo exhibitions at the Stedelijk Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art, London, the Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna, Petzel Gallery, Reena Spaulings Fine Art, among many others. Group exhibitions include dOCUMENTA(13), the 2011 Venice Bienalle, and the New Museum of Contemporary Art. His work is also part of the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
